Deborah Ratynski BSN RN

Co-Founder/President

 

Deborah Ratynski BSN RN  has been a practicing clinical registered nurse for almost 30 years. Her nursing career began at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York as a Telemetry nurse. In 1995 she went on to work in the Intensive Care Unit of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She relocated to New Jersey in 1997 and began her career in pediatrics with Total Care Pediatrics and Bayada Kids providing high tech specialty care to chronically ill and medically fragile children in their homes. This home environment is where Deborah was able to assess the dire need for an organization to help families with the costs of uncovered medical expenses. Deborah is currently the Owner/Director of Vital Home Care Agency LLC which provides home health services to clients in the New Jersey area. Deborah is a member of the New Jersey State Nurses Association, American Nurse Association, Society for Pediatric Nurses, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nurses. She is licensed in New York and New Jersey. Her free time is spent competing in marathons, travel, and enjoying her family in Warren County, New Jersey.    

 

 

Michael Jay Nusbaum M.D., FACS

Dr. Michael Jay Nusbaum is currently the founder and CEO of Nusbaum Medical Centers, MedXCom, and Obesity Treatment Centers of New Jersey.  He is a world-renowned weight loss expert  who has been in practice helping weight loss patients in New Jersey for over 25 years. Dr. Michael Nusbaum is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow and member of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. In 1998, Dr. Nusbaum established Saint Barnabas Medical Center’s bariatric surgery program and has also coauthored definitive textbooks in the field of bariatric surgery. He has appeared as a weight control and obesity expert on NBC’s Today Show and elsewhere in the media.  He has served as a surgical proctor for Allergan and Ethicon (J&J) and has numerous clinical appointments as well as memberships in Northern New Jersey.  Dr. Nusbaum has been named by Consumer Research Council of America as a Top Surgeon for the past 10+  years and as a New Jersey Top Doc from 2007-2019.  Dr. Nusbaum resides in Morris County and enjoys golfing, writing, and developing new business ventures.

Raymond Sedge, M.D.

Treasurer

 

Dr. Raymond Sedge is a resident physician in Family Medicine at Hackensack UMC Mountainside.  He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2007 and St. Georges University School of Medicine where he was awarded numerous scholarships based on leadership, community service, and academic achievement. He served as President of Santa Monica Chemistry Club and Vice President of Persian Student Association. His past memberships include SGU Family Medicine Club, UCLA Pre-Med Peer Association, and SGU Orphanage Student Organization which provided care to neglected and abandoned children. Dr. Sedges volunteer work is extensive. In addition to his Family Medicine residency, Dr. Sedge remains a USMLE Step 2 Coach and Organizer at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens New York. Dr. Sedge enjoys soccer, skiing, as well as interior design and frequently travels back to Los Angeles, California to help in his family's business, the Sedek Gallery.

Jill Elizabeth Evans, LPN

Jill Elizabeth Evans grew up in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey and graduated from Eastwick College as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She has worked at La Souk in New York City and has instructed children at DMG School of Boxing and Sports Training promoting health and wellness. She currently works at Bayada Home Healthcare providing care for children who are ill or have multiple disabilities. Jill resides in New Jersey with her family.  

 

Sister Elizabeth DaLessio, Ed.D.

 

Sister Elizabeth DaLessio graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth and is presently working as the Executive Educational Leader at the College of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey where her services include online education, grantwriting and educational consultation. Her past positions include Assistant Superintendent of Schools at the Monmouth Ocean Educational Commission and Director and Co-Founder of New Jersey Virtual School. Sister Elizabeth also currently works as an adjunct professor at Colorado State University and Seton Hall University where she teaches Organizational Leadership and Educational Leadership.
